oatmeal cream pies

i saw a recipe on pinterest for these oatmeal cream pies...and they looked so good i just had to try them. callen loved helping me whip these up today. i think his favorite parts were licking the beater and spoons:) oh yes, and of course eating them when they were done!

you dont need to know how much butter is in this recipe ;)

iPad

These two sights were two of the best ones I saw the other day. After doing a software update on the iPad....something went wrong and it all of a sudden was set to a locked mode where I couldn't do anything. A black screen with a usb cord picture and an itunes circle. After many minutes of stressing all day, and praying and praying......and many times of trying to restore it...I tried one last time before bed...I think it was the fifth time and it actually worked!! We were going to have to bring it into an apple store and I was afraid I was going to lose everything on it. But sooo thankful that everything was restored and thanks to that iCloud all our data, apps and pics were saved!! This saved a lot of hassle. But those two pictures, I could not believe my eyes when I saw it. such a huge answer to prayer! The silly things, that God chooses to help us with. So thankful.

Glimpse

Just a little glimpse into my world the past couple weeks. Not really sure what's been going on...but there's been a lot of this happening. He actually said take a picture of me as he was crying like this. So hopefully soon I'll be able to look back and this pic will be a memory of when "callen was two. and all those days that were hard, long and tiring".

Cute cousins

These two are so cute together. The past two times they've seen each other their greetings have been been so cute! They'll hug and just stand there looking at each other. Saturday morning we were at church for upwards basketball. Channing and callen had fun playing together!

Vacuum helper

Callen loves to be a helper. I can't find a filter piece to our big vacuum so have been using this small one. But it works perfect for callen. Just his size!

Peanut butter

I made some peanut butter today. I saw a recipe in a magazine a few weeks ago and was inspired to try it. I didn't use the recipe though...just used plain ole peanuts. De-shelling them was a little tedious, but after that into the blender they went...and that was it! Voi la! A little container of fresh all natural peanut butter;)

Cracker gun

Callen was up last night throwing up:( i knew it had to happen sometime...so not bad the first time being at 2 and a half years old. thinking it was something he ate. not really sure. But wow, it was disgusting. It was only twice, so I'm glad it didn't carry on and on.

Anyways, he was eating crackers this morning, and he takes a bite and said, "make a gun!" So funny:) Love being a boys mommy;) Just a side note....I have to comment on this, I almost didn't post the pic because of it...his nails...but thought the moment was way to cute to not post about it. My sisters will be glad to see that even I went a few days too long and neglected his precious little fingers and nails;) right after this he had a long bath and his nails were clipped!!!! Have no fear:)

18 weeks

18 weeks and the baby is the size of a sweet potato. feeling more movement! last night chad felt the baby kick! so much fun.

Pull ups

Callens been doing so good potty training. Ever since I started the middle of January, he has picked it up way better than I thought!! Hardly any accidents and always tells me when he has to go. He has wanted nothing to do with pull-ups though. At first he said the beach! When he saw them, remembering his swim diapers I guess:) but I kept telling him these are different and tried to make them seem exciting. Telling him that his cousins Lilla and Channing wear them! But that didn't matter to him. So yesterday when I asked him if he wanted to wear it to bible study, he said yes! I was surprised. He looks so cute:)

valentines cookies

Painting snow

What an amazing idea this is!!! Erika texted me a picture of Alissa doing this with Micah and Leah. I never would've thought of this. Callen loved it!! So glad for the idea!! Thank you erika:)

Crib

Callen wanted all his animals and pillows and blankets in his crib. He was creating his hideout, which he had a lot of fun in!:)

17 weeks

Here we are at week 17! Starting to feel the baby a little. Just the flutters, like popcorn popping. But it has been so cool. 

Callen couldn't decide if he wanted to be in the picture or not....so there he is deciding he did not want to be in it. :) we go march 4th for our big ultrasound. Can't wait to find out what this little one is! 

Snowy day
