Homemade pop tarts

Callen was excited to help me make these today. I had found a recipe I wanted to try so today was a good day for it. They turned out great!! Cinnamon and brown sugar.

I made a couple with strawberry jam. Should've sealed them better!

Roommate

Always so nice seeing my roommate from college. It had been two years since we'd seen each other...too long! We live about 50 minutes from each other, hoping we'll get together more.
Maelyn loved her and fell asleep on her~

Lights

Since we'll be away for thanksgiving I figured I'd start a bit early putting some Christmas things up. Callens been enjoying it. After I put the lights on the stairs he went up there and said "this is the best Christmas ever up here!" :)

Park

A beautiful November day yesterday. Whenever its time to get dressed callen begs to wear shorts. He was happy when I said, ok! We stopped at a park, he had fun!

And Maelyn was as content as could be.

Big boy bed

From crib to bed. Since callen started climbing out of his crib again...we decided to do the switch. We had been talking about it anyways, so here it goes! The first night and nap were a success. Last night he was up a couple times. But he'll adjust to it at some point.
He wanted Maelyn to go in his bed with him. He was so happy. Then asked me to leave the room. Haha, I didn't:)

Cuddles

Callen loves holding Maelyn. I love my two fleecy pajama kids:)

Cute

I forgot I had pictures on the camera. These were from a couple Sundays ago.

Helmet

Callen and daddy picked this shark helmet out at target. Callen thinks its so cool. He's been doing a great job on this bigger bike during our walks!

Hat

My BFF ashley made this adorable hat for Maelyn.:)

Yum

Caramel apple cider floats. These are sooo good.

Even callen enjoyed it!

2 cups apple cider
1 cinnamon stick
1 cup vanilla ice cream
1 tbsp. caramel sauce
1 pinch of nutmeg

In small saucepan, heat cider with cinnamon stick. Pour cider into 2 float glasses. Top with ice cream, caramel sauce and some grated nutmeg. Serve with spoon.

I didn't have cinnamon sticks so just sprinkled cinnamon in the cider while it was warming. And of course use as much or little ice cream as desired. So easy and so good.

This is what it should look like:) via Pinterest

Week of pics
