She is a very good baby.
She has been so content since day one.
She loves to look around and just take everything in.
She's been starting to smile at us.
She sometimes has a hard time falling asleep on her own.
Loves to be held.
If she's not being held, and is asleep, she has a hard time staying asleep.
She doesn't cry a lot, she just makes a lot of noises-they get more frantic as each second goes by...then she'll start to cry.
If she's been awake too long she'll cry.
She loves to be swaddled.
Does not like getting her diaper changed or her outfit changed.
She loves her bath.
She loves her pacifier.
She spits up a lot and has lots of gas bubbles.
She sleeps in the nap nanny in her cradle next to our bed.
Since she spits up so much it makes me feel better that she's a little bit elevated at night.
She goes 4-5 hours at night. (Sometimes there's just a 3 hour stretch)
If she wakes up in the night and I hold her sometimes she goes back to sleep and I don't have to feed her right away.
She's still in newborn diapers, although we're just about out of them so will start using the size 1's that I have.
She's been wearing newborn clothes but this week has been in 0-3/3month things too.
She loves being in the baby bjorn.
Yesterday she had her first diaper explosion all up her back. Chad was holding her, but luckily didn't get any on him:) her onesie will never be the same.
Callen is good with her. Always asks "how's Maelyn doin?" And says "let me check Maelyn".
He's been getting frustrated when she makes noises or cries. Instead of yelling "ahhh stop Maelyn" I'm teaching him to say in a sweet voice "don't cry Maelyn". And that since she can't talk yet this is how she talks...making noises or cries. Yelling at her just makes her more sad. He's learning:)
