Bagels and a bouncy ball

After my appt we stopped to get a bagel. Callen had fun sitting at the table in there. Saying "plain bagel at bagel place!" All excitedly. When we were finished callen of course stopped to check out the little candy and toy machines that are strategically placed by the door. The bouncy balls were only a quarter and since I had one at the bottom of my bag I figured id let him try it out. He was SO excited. Kept laughing as he was turning the dial with all his strength. It was so cute. Hopefully this wasn't a mistake on my part....the next time he sees one of these machines!! Oh boy. And oh well. We'll deal with that as needed;)

Waiting room buddy

I had a drs appt/checkup today. Fun to be able to share the waiting room time with my cute little boy. It was a longer wait than usual, but callen was so good and whispered the whole time. Saying "have to talk piet".....ie, quiet:) Another healthy report for me and the baby. So thankful!

Class at the Y

I wanted to sign up for some sort of class for callen. To get us both out of the house but be something fun for callen. I had looked into the YMCA, but didn't know too much about it. My friend Sarah then told me that she was signing her boy up and that I should look into it too. That sold me:) so we both signed up for the preschool class. 45 minutes on Tuesdays, for 8 weeks. It has been great!! Callen, and Christian have both had so much fun with this. And it's nice because the moms can stay in the class. So no dealing with separation anxiety!

Today I took my phone out to get some pictures. They made bunny hats and then we went outside to get Easter eggs. It was cute.

Callen has no clue who spider man or superman are...but he loves them. He happens to have a shirt of each and is obsessed with them both. If he happens to see one of the shirts he has to wear it. So that was the case this morning!

23 weeks

Baby is the size of a large mango! I've been seeing her move. My stomach will move up and down. So much fun! We are making progress in her room. Which was the guest room/ storage. Chad painted in there, it will probably need another coat here and there. We've moved some boxes and bins into the garage. Lots more to do, but we're getting there. Nice we have plenty of time. It will be a nursery-guest room combo. I wanted to keep a bed in there for when we have visitors. Progress pics to come:) Its been fun picking up some girl clothes and shoes here and there!

Powder

I was sitting in the hall yesterday organizing some things and callen went into his room, it was very quiet all of a sudden....I walk in to his room to this. Callen powdering his feet, and powder everywhere! At least it was just powder so it cleaned up easy. "Double trouble" as Great Grammy would say:)

Bowling

Callens new favorite. Bowling!! With his little soccer ball...since we can't seem to find the bowling ball:)

Walk

We went for a walk Sunday night. It was nice to get out!

22 weeks

here we are at 22 weeks! feeling her alot which is so much fun. even her little hiccups! we are still thinking of a name for her, and her room is slowly but surely in progress. feeling good as far as nausea goes. so thankful that let up! was beginning to wonder if it ever would. a little heart burn here and there. no real cravings these days. starting to get winded just by going up and down the stairs. ive gone for a couple walks and i cant wait for the warm weather so i can more consistent with that. callen talks about "baby sister" all the time. it is so cute. 

baby is as long as a spaghetti squash, almost 11 inches and weighs almost a pound!

Cinnamon roll donuts

Head cold

Trying to get through this miserable head cold. I must say, these tissues are great! Puffs plus lotion with the scent of Vicks. The little things. :)

think pink!

our 20 week ultrasound was yesterday. we got a good and healthy report for our baby. so thankful.

and its a GIRL!! we'll be adding some pink and baby dolls to our world of blue and dump trucks. it will be fun:) 

she was all curled up just about the whole time. the technician had to keep shaking my belly to try and get her to move. finally at the very end she decided to move. im so glad, because we then got a view of her face!! and sweet little profile.

these 4d ones are amazing! i was so surprised the tech did these. wasnt sure how you got to get 4d's...but was glad she turned it on real quick at the end! amazing!

she weighed in at 11 ounces! so tiny! but yet so detailed and formed already. so amazing.

half way there!! and finally starting to feel better. the nausea is fading!

Dude

My cool dude:) yesterday was the last day for upwards basketball games at church. Callen had fun cheering his cousins on saying "go sawyer and go sayler!" And playing with Channing. Here he his walking in for the games!
