10 weeks

Hands

Maelyns found her hands and she's obsessed with them:) she loves looking at them and gets cross eyed a lot doing so. She's been sucking on them too. 

Cute

I could've draped a blanket on this chair...excuse the condition of the old cushions! 

Moss

When nanny comes to visit she loves working on our quote un quote patio. It's pretty sad and moss covered. But so nice once the bricks are uncovered. One of callens favorite things to do with her when she was here last was go out and weed. They'd get their sticks and start scraping away. He'd get so excited when a new patio block was uncovered. So the other day when he found this brush he started scraping the moss out front. I told him nanny would be proud:) 

Cousins

These two are so cute. 

Jefferson dairy

We went out for ice cream the other night. Me and chad had to get out annual pumpkin shakes. They were so good. Callen picked vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. Maelyn just slept the whole time. Next year she'll be wanting some.

Sunday

Bike

Over the summer we found this little bike by someone's garbage, so picked it up. We got some training wheels last night so callen was more than happy to help chad put them on-he loves tools. 

Cousins

Channing and callen are about 5 months apart...

And Lachlan and Maelyn are 5 weeks apart. 

8 weeks

Walk

Callen didn't get up til 9:20 on this morning (which is very unusal!) its usually much much earlier than that. so I made him a bagel and he ate his breakfast on our walk.

Hard times

I've been going through a really hard time these past couple weeks. There have been so many people in my life who have been such an amazing help and encouragement. With words, verses, texts, emails, prayers and so much more. My parents came down and my Dad left my mom to help for the week. I can't begin to put into words how much help she was. I'm still in the middle of things but am so thankful to God for holding me and for all the people he is using in my life. Saturday we met my Dad in CT so he could take my mom back home. We enjoyed brunch at the diner. 

My friend cheri sent me these flowers last week~with Psalm 40:1-3
