Pillow case

i told callen i would make him a new pillow case, he was all excited. so we went to walmart and he picked some fabric. he loved this truck fabric so we got it, and i got to work. i used a tutorial that for some reason was confusing to me. but when i finished it, everything made sense. it was so easy! will definitely use that tutorial again to make more!

Sandbox

Callen loves playing in the sandbox. But callen does not like when the grass is wet. He gets very dramatic when he has his crocs on, and he walks in the wet grass and his feet get wet. So, I have to carry him to the sandbox. All the way in the back of the yard. Which is not an easy task these days. He actually hasn't minded walking barefoot through the grass. Not sure the difference. But he does that occasionally which saves my back. 

Walks

I've been going for walks in the mornings, hoping it will help my achy body at night. Trying to soak in these last few weeks of just me and callen. It wont be much longer that its just us two on our walks. Soon they will be shared with a little girl:)

Summertime fun

Callen had so much fun in his little pool and running through the sprinkler. Today was a perfect day for it. Nice and hot. 

Chicken

This picture is kind of unappetizing...but this is what I got accomplished this afternoon. I had gotten a big package of chicken at Costco. Erika suggested before freezing the chicken, to package it with marinades already in them. That way all I'd have to do is grab a bag and put it in the crockpot. Instead of dealing with plain chicken trying to come up with a meal idea. So...I made BBQ sauce and teriyaki sauce. Hopefully they turned out good! It was from a website Erika uses and has tried. (heavenlyhomemaker.com) Glad to have 5 meals/meats all ready in the freezer. Will be nice when the baby comes!

Blueberry cake

I got a big container of blueberries at Costco, so I've been looking for new blueberry recipes. 

Tried this blueberry cake and the recipes a keeper! Wish my dad and my mom were here to taste test!:)

My sweet new niece~

Callen got to meet his new cousin today! Sweet little Lachlan. He was so good and cute with her. She is so adorable and is making me so much more excited to meet our baby girl:)

We had fun at the park today! After my drs appt we went to a park near there that is a lot of fun, and we rarely go to. Callen loved it!

Callen had fun with his car wash. He would drive his tractor through the dirt...then put it in the car wash.

Callen

It is not unusual for callen to wake up in the night...and say that he needs to sleep in mommys bed. So, taking the easy route at 2 or 4am I get him up and into bed he comes. He'll usually wake up for the day...between 5:00-6:00. Funny when I look at 6:15 or 6:30 as him sleeping in! Well, this morning he slept in til just about 8:00!!! How nice!! I didn't want to move so as not to wake him...but I did manage to get a couple adorable pics of him. Hopefully he will start sleeping all night in his crib...and to sleep past 6 on a regular basis would be amazing. Just sayin.

Last night

Look who stopped by last night!! Steve, ashley and Olivia!! What an awesome surprise. It was so fun to see them!!!

34 weeks

It seems like each baby site says something different as to the weight and measurements for each week....but she is probaby 4-5 pounds and almost 18 inches long. She's a busy little girl in there. Moving about. She's made me jump a few times last week with her movements. About 6 weeks to go til we meet her!! 

Sleeping callen

We had a fun weekend in NH. Callen was tired on sunday, from no nap. This is how he fell asleep on the ride home. The sun was bright so he put his blanket on his head and fell asleep. 

So cute. 

33 weeks

amusement park day- part 1

saturday we went to dutch wonderland. an amusement park for kids. callen had a blast! they gave out stickers if you were a first time visitor. even my big belly got one:) it was another hot day. chad ran all around with callen from ride to ride. i followed them and just took pictures. So excuse the excess amount of pictures :) 

 callen wanted to go and see the dinosaur. 

 this was callens favorite ride...the turtles. he loved being whipped around!

 chad said he felt ridiculous in this frog ride. he said he felt like his feet were touching the ground the whole time. he was a good sport and a good daddy:)

this car ride had a long line...but callen loved it once it was his turn.

Even I hopped on a horse on the carousel. Chad may or may not have laughed at me a couple times;)

 his expressions were pretty serious on the rides and after the rides...unless they were wild. he was all business going from ride to ride.

 we took a little boat ride. callen was so excited when the boat driver asked if he wanted to drive it!!

 around noon time we left to get some lunch and to take a break. this was callen after we had lunch. he was worn out!
