My cutie girl

Windy

A windy night and a game of frisbee.
I was saying to chad that I would be surprised if callen has an office job when he grows up. He is all about the hands on. A hammer, shovel, rake, tool, busy and go whatever! :)

Letters

Practicing his letters. I did the pink and he did all the green. He's doing pretty good!

Then he got a little out of control and did swirls all over the paper. He likes writing mom:) and Q's;)
Caught him on his last big bite of his snack.

Smiles

Such a happy girl.

Trucks

Happy to be playing outside more.

Hard worker

Callen is quite the helper! We have our patio renovation project in the works. Me and callen have been working hard taking up the bricks. He would take his shovel and dig it up a little then I'd grab them and stack them. He was such a help!
Pretty flowers are blooming!
annnd they're squished...

Almond butter cookies

I found this cookie recipe it's almond butter, cocoa, maple syrup and baking powder. They turned out good! An easy healthy cookie snack.

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In a food processor, combine all ingredients.
  • Form into balls and place onto a lined baking sheet. (I used a cookie scoop to form my cookies)
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Let completely cool before removing from the cookie sheet.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Please make sure the cookies have completely cooled before removing them from the baking sheet. I tried to grab one before they were cooled and it crumbled on me. I didn't have that issue when they had cooled. These cookies should last a couple weeks in the fridge. You can also freeze them for longer storage. Enjoy!

Bike

Someone was getting rid of a couple bikes up the road from us. Chad had been eyeing them as the brand is an expensive bike brand. Steve came by Easter afternoon so they went up and got them. Needed a little work but not bad for free!

Food for the birds

Callen loved doing this last year. Filling the bird food cage. So when we were in Home Depot Saturday we picked one up. We're still waiting for the birds to find it though.
